A connecting structure for pipes is provided to achieve secure watertightness regardless of pressure changes within a pipe by connecting structure using a packing member for active adjustment to pressure changes. A connecting structure for pipes(1,2) is characterized by expanding end portions(110,120) of the pipes, inserting a ring-shaped packing member(230) between the expanded portions, and connecting the outer sides of the expanded portions with a clamp(150). The packing member has a square or a diamond-shaped sectional surface, including an open inlet(234) on the opposite sides, a space(232) communicating with the inlet, and movable sections(236) on the upper and lower parts separated by the inlet and the space.
