The guide wire is provided with a first curved portion; a second curved portion, which is arranged on the leading end side of the first curved portion and is curved in a direction opposite to the first curved portion; and a third curved portion, which is arranged on the leading end side of the second curved portion and is curved in a direction opposite to the second curved portion.
