<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily stir and convey toner in a container, as well as improving efficiency in storing toner. <P>SOLUTION: The toner storage device 60 includes the container 61 for storing toner, and a stir conveyance member 62 that conveys toner in the container 61 while stirring it. The stir conveyance member 62 is an elastic body, and is disposed such that part of it is bent in contact with the internal wall of the container 61. The ends of the stir conveyance member 62 are rotatably supported on the opposite faces of the container 61. The internal walls 61b and 61c of the container, located around the ends of the stir conveyance member 62, have conical side shapes.
