<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive colored resin composition that is superior in redissolubility and will not cause defects due to foreign substances and uneven coating, in the coating step, in the manufacture of a color filter, and to provide a method for manufacturing the color filter using the same and a color display device. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive colored resin composition comprises a solid component, containing (A) a dye, (B) a resin, (C) a photopolymerizable compound and (D) a photopolymerization initiator and (E) an organic solvent component, wherein the organic solvent component (E) contains 5-80 mass% of cyclohexanone. The method for manufacturing the color filter includes a step of forming a colored image on a substrate by using the photosensitive colored resin composition.
