<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement for a propeller that reduces noise generated from an open fan aircraft while maintaining advantages of fuel efficiency given by an open fan propeller. <P>SOLUTION: The arrangement for an aircraft 10 includes a fuselage 12, a wing 30, and the propeller 100. The wing may have a wing upper surface 48, a rear spar 58 and a wing trailing edge 54. The propeller may include at least one rotor 110 having a rotor diameter and a rotor axis. The propeller may be mounted so that the rotor is located longitudinally between the rear spar and the wing trailing edge.
