<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission apparatus, semiconductor storage device and information processor in which miniaturization at a data transmission side is attained, an error in transmission data can be detected and corrected and even if a fault occurs in a part of transmission line, data can be transmitted with no error. <P>SOLUTION: An optical transmission apparatus 1 of the present invention comprises: an E/O converter 21 which converts transmission data inputted by an electric signal from the electric signal into an optical signal, the transmission data being added with an error correcting code by an ECC adding part 20; an optical transmission line 3 in which the optical signal is branched into two optical signals by a beam splitter 30 and transmitted; ECC decoders 41a, 41b for performing error detection and correction using the error correcting code on reception data resulting from converting the received two optical signals into two electric signals by O/E converters 40a, 40b; and a data selector 42 which selects data with no error, based on error detection results, from among two data items from the ECC decoders 41a, 41b and outputs the selected data as output data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
