<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint reducing rotational resistance of a release, when switching to a pushing-in possible position or a pushing-in impossible position, by rotating the release. <P>SOLUTION: This pipe joint has a recessed part 6 and a projection part 7 controlling a movable range of the release 3 by the mutual positional relationship, and the release 3 can be pushed in the relative positional relationship of fitting the recessed part 6 and the projection part 7, and a pipe 1 can be extracted by displacing a lock ring 2 by pushing in the release 3.
