摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel carbazole compound which has an outstanding carrier transport property, and can be suitably used as a transporting layer and a host material of a light-emitting element, or a luminescent material, and moreover to provide an organic semiconductor material and a light-emitting element material using the carbazole compound.

SOLUTION: The carbazole compound can be synthesized in which nitrogen of a carbazolyl group in which the 2-position of dibenzofuran or dibenzothiophene is bonded to the 3-position of carbazole is bonded to the 9- or 10-position of anthracene directly or via a phenylene group. It was found out that the carbazole compound has a favorable carrier-transport property or film quality, and a wide band gap, and can be suitably used as a light-emitting element material and an organic semiconductor material.
