PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organism status detector capable of detecting a status of an organism, including a posture or respiration of the organism.SOLUTION: An organism status detector 10 comprises: an FM-CW radar 11 which transmits, to a target including an organism, a transmission wave being a frequency modulated continuous wave, and detects distance spectral intensity data chronologically indicating the intensity at each predetermined distance to the target on the basis of a frequency difference between the transmission wave and a reflection wave from the target; extraction means which extracts a body motion signal based on a respiration of the organism from the detection result from the FM-CW radar 11; and determination means which determines a posture or respiration of the organism on the basis of the body motion signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
