PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small hole electric discharge machine which can perform machining even for a machining target object having a stepped hole without requiring attachment/removal of an electrode, and in which each process takes a short cycle time and the machining can be performed by only one machine.SOLUTION: Provided is a small hole electric discharge machine equipped with a turntable 27 having an A-axis and a B-axis and for fixing and mounting a machining target object, in which: a first W-axis carriage 11A and a second W-axis carriage 11B are integrally provided so as to be freely controlled regarding movement positioning in an X-axis direction and a Y-axis direction, where the carriages are provided with electrode guides 25, 23 for guiding a lower end part of a bar-shaped electrode 21 so as to be freely controlled regarding elevation positioning in a W-axis direction; the first W-axis carriage is provided with a first machining head 17A which freely controls elevation positioning of the bar-shaped electrode with respect to the machining target object on the turntable; and the second W-axis carriage is provided with a second machining head 17B which freely controls elevation positioning of the bar-shaped electrode with respect to the machining target object on the turntable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
