A work vehicle is provided with: an automatic travel control unit (51) that implements automatic travel on the basis of a host vehicle position and a target travel path; a manual travel control unit (52) that implements manual travel on the basis of an operation signal from a manual travel operation unit (9) that is manually operated; a first control unit (61) that implements a transition from the manual travel to the automatic travel on the condition that the vehicle has been stopped manually; a second control unit (62) that implements forced stopping of the vehicle at the time of a transition from the automatic travel to the manual travel; and a third control unit (63) that implements forced stopping of the vehicle by temporarily interrupting the automatic travel in response to an interrupt command from the manual travel operation unit (9), and that resumes the automatic travel in response to a resume command from the manual travel operation unit (9).
