PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air spring which prevents occurrence of a negative pressure at the inner side of a fire prevention cover while covering a rubber product with the fire prevention cover and protecting the rubber product from spark and fire.SOLUTION: A cylindrical diaphragm 4 is disposed between an upper member 2 and a lower member 3. A cylindrical fire prevention cover 5 is fastened to the upper member 2 and the lower member 3. The cylindrical fire prevention cover 5 covers the entire diaphragm 4 from outside, to protect the diaphragm 4 from spark and fire. A communication passage 6 is provided to allow interior and exterior parts of the fire prevention cover 5 to communicate with each other. When the air spring 1 is displaced, air gets into/out from the communication passage 6. The occurrence of the negative pressure at the inner side of the fire prevention cover 5 is prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
