[Problem] The objective of the present invention is to provide an injection-molded mesh filter capable of reducing the flow resistance of a fluid flowing through a mesh portion. [Solution] In this injection-molded mesh filter 1, a mesh portion 4 that filters out foreign matter from a fluid includes: multiple horizontal bars 6; multiple vertical bars 7 orthogonal to the horizontal bars 6; and rectangle openings 8 each surrounded by a pair of the adjacent horizontal bars 6, 6 and a pair of the adjacent vertical bars 7, 7. The horizontal bars 6 and the vertical bars 7 each have a substantially elliptical cross-sectional shape. The openings 8 are each formed by smooth side surfaces 14, 14 of a pair of the adjacent horizontal bars 6, 6 and smooth side surfaces 15, 15 of a pair of the adjacent vertical bars 7, 7. The openings 8 at the upstream side in a fluid flow direction smoothly squeeze flows of a fluid when the fluid flows therethrough, and the openings 8 at the downstream side in a fluid flow direction smoothly broaden the flows of the fluid when the fluid flows therethrough. |
