PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice ball preliminary molding apparatus capable of reducing as much as possible sliding of an ingredient position even when inserting rice mass into a molding disc of rice ball.SOLUTION: A rice ball preliminary molding apparatus is configured of: a pair of side stoppers 13 and 14 compressing four corner parts of tabular rice to an inner side direction followed by molding to premolded tabular rice of a bilaterally symmetrical almost rhombic shape; a pressing force tool 21 for forming by pressing an ingredient insertion recess 23 on the left upper surface with an almost rhombic shape, of the premolded tabular rice; an ingredient supply area 3a for supplying ingredients to the ingredient insertion recess of the premolded tabular rice 7'; and a folding part 4 for forming nearly triangular preliminary molded rice 7" wrapped with the ingredients by folding in two the premolded tabular rice supplied with the ingredients from a bilaterally symmetrical center line. The shape of the preliminary molded rice 7" is a nearly triangular shape of a prescribed thickness, close to a rice ball form as a shape of a rice ball molding hole 10 in a rice ball molding part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
