PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body rear part structure which preferably inhibits movement of a spare tire.SOLUTION: A vehicle V includes: a pair of left and right rear side frames 2, 2; a rear floor panel 3 installed between the pair of rear side frames 2, 2 and having a recessed part 31; a spare tire 5 installed in the recessed part 31 in a lodging state; and an inhibition member 1 which inhibits movement of the spare tire 5 at the time of a rear collision of the vehicle V. The inhibition member 1 has a cross member 11 and an inhibition plate 12. The inhibition member 1 is installed above the spare tire 5 at a front part 31b of the recessed part 31, and both end parts 11d, 11d, which are end parts when viewed in a vehicle width direction, are fixed to the pair of rear side frames 2, 2. The inhibition plate 12 extends from the cross member 11 toward the interior of the recessed part 31 to cover the spare tire 5 from the front and lower sides. An upper end part 12d of the inhibition plate 12 is fixed to the cross member 11.
