PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dross removal device capable of reliably removing dross sticking to a workpiece support.SOLUTION: A dross removal device (1) includes: a support plate (28) slidable on plates of a workpiece support (2); a dross removal portion (10) supported by the support plate; and an operation handle portion (4) to be held by an operator, for moving the dross removal device backward and forward. The dross removal portion includes: a pair of claw members (22a, 22b) extending downward at both sides of one of the multiple plates, for removing dross; a support bracket (18) and a shaft (20) for journaling upper end portions (22c, 22d) of the respective claw members, so that the pair of claw members can swing in directions where the claw members move toward or away from each other, around the upper end portions; a double-acting air cylinder (12) for causing the support bracket and the shaft to reciprocate vertically; and compression springs (24a, 24b) for biasing the respective claw members in directions where the pair of claw members approach each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
