PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform analysis support method capable of identifying a bit pattern string which may cause a problem in transmission line analysis.SOLUTION: The waveform analysis support method causes a computer to execute a series of processing, including: to display a waveform graph, in which plural waveforms are overlapped with corresponding bit values in a piece of input data of plural bits, on a display screen; to receive a set of specifications of a position on the display screen; and to output a bit value of a bit corresponding to the waveform corresponding to the position of the specifications received on the plural waveforms and a bit value of a bit at least before or after the bit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
