PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that is able to easily output a paper size intended by a user when a compact document is divided and printed.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises a printing section 13 that prints on output paper for each page of an original document on the basis of image data of a compact document in which images for a plurality of pages of the original document are compacted on one page. This image forming apparatus comprises: a setting processing section 10a that sets a number of pages for the original document, which have been compacted on one page of the compact document; a division processing section 10b that divides image data of the compact document by the set number of pages; and a deformation processing section 10c that enlarges or enlarges and rotates the divided image data so as to match with the size and direction of output paper.
