PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which allows for appropriate CPU resource control, in a computer performing transmission and reception processing of packet at high speed.SOLUTION: A packet processing apparatus including a network interface and an application further includes first packet control means for reading the packet from the network interface, second packet control means for notifying the application of the packet, and CPU control management means performing allocation of the CPU resource for the first packet control means, and allocation of the CPU resource for the second packet control means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
