PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an understanding state estimation device for estimating the realtime understanding state of each participant of communication such as remote conference, with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A personal feature amount acquisition unit 2 acquires signals from respective participants, reflecting the activity status thereof, thus acquiring the feature amount indicating the activity status in time series from the signals. A difficulty estimation unit 3 estimates the difficulty of communication in time series, based on the utterance content. A personal estimation unit 4 estimates the understanding degree of each participant based on the feature amount and the difficulty. A grouping unit 5 groups the participants depending on the ability to understand. An overall estimation unit 6 corrects the output from the personal estimation unit 4 for each group of grouping unit 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
