Provided are a terminal device and a data transmission method applied to the terminal device. The terminal device comprises: a first device host, the first device host comprising a first radio frequency communication structure, a first wireless transmission structure, and a first processing chip; a card reader, the card reader comprising a second wireless transmission structure, a second processing chip, and a card tray, wherein the first processing chip sends a SIM card read/write request signal to the second processing chip via the first wireless transmission structure and the second wireless transmission structure, and receives a SIM card read/write feedback signal that is fed back by the second processing chip after the second processing chip performs an operation on a SIM card according to the SIM card read/write request signal, and the radio frequency communication structure sends a communication signal to a second device host according to the SIM card read/write feedback signal. |
