MULTIPLE BEAM RASTER OUTPUT SCANNING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raster output type scanning system which shortens an optical path length and reduces the number of optical elements. SOLUTION: The number of the optical elements is reduced since the sagittal part of each beam does require only a spherical diode lens 118 and wobble correction mirror 142 concerning each beam in the multiple-beam type raster output scanning system 100. The tangential part of the beam requires only the spherical diode lens 118, a shared common tangential lens 130 and a shared common two-element type fθ-scan lens 134. A fold mirrors 132 are utilized so that the compact raster output scanning system is provided.
