PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PM stepping motor with a speed reducer that can further shorten the total axial length. SOLUTION: This stepping motor is made up of a pair of casings 20, 21; a stator 30 held between these casings; a rotor 50 supported by one casing 20 via a first bearing 40 and positioned at the inside circumference side of the stator 30; an output shaft 60 supported by the other casing 21 via a second bearing 41; and a speed-reducing mechanism 70. This speed-reducing mechanism 70 comprises a sun gear 71 fixed to a rotating shaft 51 inside a magnet supporting cylinder 52; a plurality of planetary gears 72a, 72b, 72c that engages the outside circumference of the sun gear; a gear supporting cylinder 73 that enters inside the magnet supporting cylinder 52 from an open end side being supported by the casing 20 and on the inside circumferential surface of which an inside circumferential gear 73a that engages the planetary gear is formed; and a pair of planetary frames 75a, 75b that hold the shaft of the planetary gears.
