PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device in which the number of light emitting elements can be reduced, and also, the turning motion of a casing can be effectively utilized in relation with the light emitting elements. SOLUTION: The portable terminal device 2 is provided with a first casing 6 which has an operation part 4, and a second casing 10 which is connected to be capable of overlapping so as to cover the operation part 4.
