A filter cartridge is accommodated inside the lower segment of a short bent tube below a fanning unit resting on a ball bearing and operated by an external battery. The lower segment is covered by a mesh (5) moisturized by the fluid evaporating from a small container (4). A gap (6) between the edge of the mesh (5) and the inner surface of the tube causes the incoming air stream to increase its speed. The device can be equipped with a textile cover matching the clothes of the user.
