PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high molecular compound that is suitable for improving the storability and the weather-resistant property in an ink composition and toner composition.

SOLUTION: The high molecular compound has a repetitive unit sequence represented by general formula (1) (wherein X is a polyalkenyl group which may be substituted; A is a 1-15C straight or branched chain alkylene group which may be substituted where at least one of alkylene group may be substituted with CH2or O; m is an integer from 0 to 30; Y is single or a plurality of S, O or Se and includes at least one or more S; R represents one selected from a straight or branched alkyl group which may be substituted, an aromatic ring and a structure in which at most three of fused ring or aromatic rings are connected up to three with single bonds). The high molecular compound-including ink composition as well as the toner composition each includes the high molecular compound.
