PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner capable of easily performing internal checking of an electrical equipment box by applying a constitution easily demounted in service checking by forming a grip on the electrical equipment box, and easily and surely fixing the electrical equipment box after temporarily fixing and positioning it, after the internal checking. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger chamber 12 comprising a heat exchanger 9 is formed at an upper portion and a compressor chamber 13 comprising a compressor is formed at a lower portion by a partitioning plate 11 vertically partitioning the inside of a housing 1, and the electrical equipment box 16 is fixed to one side inside of the housing 1. A temporary fixing portion 22 for the electrical equipment box 16 is disposed inside of the housing 1, on the other hand, the electrical equipment box 16 is provided with the grip 23, and a fixing tool 21 which is detachably temporarily fixed to the temporary fixing portion 22 from a front part of the housing 1.
