<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer having a constitution capable of enhancing throughput. <P>SOLUTION: This printer for performing printing on a print medium comprises a feed roller 27 for feeding the print medium from a medium set part 26 thereto, a feed motor 31 for driving the feed roller 27, a feed roller 24 for feeding the print medium fed from the medium set part 26, a feed motor 14 for driving the feed roller 4, and a control part 50 for controlling the feed motor 14 according to a first speed profile indicating the relation between the rotating time or the rotating distance of the feed roller 4 and the target peripheral speed thereof, indicating the relation between the rotating time or the rotating distance of the feed roller 27 and the target peripheral speed thereof, and controlling the feed motor 31 according to a second speed profile generally identical to the first sped profile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
