<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepreg for photoelectric composite substrate, a prepreg that can surely prevent interference between glass fibers while increased reduction in cost is contrived. <P>SOLUTION: A prescribed resin is impregnated in a braid 11 of glass fibers 12 to be an optical waveguide. In manufacturing a prepreg for a photoelectric composite substrate, a prepreg to be integrally joined with a circuit substrate material of a printed circuit substrate, the glass fiber 12 is coated with a first resin 14 as a clad material, the first resin having a lower refractive index than the glass fiber 12 and having a superior adhesion with it. Then, a second resin 15 having an arbitrary refractive index and a superior adhesion with the circuit substrate material is impregnated in the remaining part of the braid 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
