<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of attempting electric power saving of a system and having an external interface which can be connected with an extending device. <P>SOLUTION: After transferring of an operating part controlling system 102 being a sub-system to an energy saving mode is completed, whether the extending device 200 is connected with the external interface 11 or not is confirmed. In accordance with the result of the confirmation, a shutting-down mechanism 121 is controlled, and conduction/shutting-down of electric power source feeding to the external interface 11 is made executable selectively. As it is possible thereby to detect the connecting condition of the extending device 200 to the external interface 11, and to change electricity energizing condition to the external interface 11 from the result of the detection, electric power saving of the system can be attempted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
