<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid production of a defective image by surely transferring document image data from a main memory to a plotter. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus which transfers plot data stored in the first storing part (first MEM 122) of a side of a controller to the side of a writing engine for obtaining an image by the engine, a second storing part (second MEM 11) which temporally stores the plot data from the first storing part 122 is provided. When data stored in the second storing part 11 reach a data amount to be continuously supplied to the side of the writing engine, reading of the plot data from the second storing part 11 is started for starting image forming operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
