[PROBLEMS] To provide a method for connecting a connection terminal for surely connecting the terminal to a flat type conductor. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] In the method, a pierce terminal (20) having pierce edges (21) penetrating a flat wiring conductor (102) is connected electrically with the flat wiring conductor (102) by the penetrating pierce edges (21). Connection state is adjusted based on a terminal reaction force R acting on the break end face (102a) of the penetrated pierce edges (21) and the flat wiring conductor (102). The terminal reaction force R is regulated by the press reaction force F/A when the pierce edges (21) penetrate the flat wiring conductor (102).
