PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of properly controlling the position or the like on which image contents are projected on the basis of image content.SOLUTION: The projector includes: a sensor section that detects an object; a detection section that detects a moving object, a first object and a second object based on signals output from the sensor section; a control unit that projects a first image corresponding to the first object on a first projection area and generates a projection image for projecting a second image corresponding to the second object in the second projection area; and a projection section that projects the projection images. The control unit determines the first image based on the position of the moving object and determines the second image without depending on the position of the moving object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
