PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle capable of suppressing the temperature of a transformer to a temperature rise limit or lower of the transformer and suppressing lowering of vehicle performance.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle includes: a high-voltage battery 11 in which power for driving the electric vehicle 1 is charged; a generator 12 for generating power of higher voltage than battery voltage of the high-voltage battery 11; a front motor 16 which is disposed together with the generator 12 and is driven by power of generated voltage of the generator 12; a rear motor 18 which is driven by the power of the battery voltage of the high-voltage battery 11; a voltage control unit 43 for stepping down partial power distributed to the high voltage battery 11 of the power generated in the generator 12 from the generated voltage of the generator 12 to the battery voltage of the high-voltage battery 11; and a power drive unit 4 for reducing a distribution ratio of the power distributed from the generator 12 to the rear motor 18 when it is determined that the temperature of the voltage control unit 43 rises to the distribution ratio reduction temperature or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
