According to the present invention, a device for opening and closing a door comprises: a door frame forming a prescribed space by an upper and a lower frame horizontally positioned on an upper and a lower portion thereof, and a left and a right frame vertically positioned on a left and a right side thereof; a door to slide along the upper and the lower frame to open or close the prescribed space of the door frame; a weight to slide in a direction in which the door opens to move upwards, and move downwards by gravity to slide the door in a closing direction; and a locking means which is disposed on the door and stops a sliding movement of the door. The locking means comprises a stopper which selectively protrudes or retreats in a direction perpendicular to a sliding direction of the door, and comes in contact with the upper frame or the lower frame of the door frame facing the door to stop a sliding movement of the door when protruding. Accordingly, the stopper of a locking device protrudes to come in contact with the facing door frame to stop a sliding movement in a door closing direction to maintain the door on a prescribed position required by a user in an opened state. |
