<p>PURPOSE: A variable diffuser structure for a centrifugal compressor is provided to simply constitute a variable diffuser ring by a screw joining with respect to a casing and an internal gear and a pinion gear joining with respect to a driving source. CONSTITUTION: A variable diffuser structure for a centrifugal compressor comprises a first diffuser(50), a receiving groove(44), a female screw part(62), a variable diffuser ring(70), a pinion gear(80), and a driving shaft(90). The first diffuser primarily induces operating gas while forming a part of a flow path(GP) by facing to an impeller(30). The receiving groove is formed in a casing in the outer circumference of the first diffuser. The female screw part is formed in the inner diameter of the receiving groove. The variable diffuser ring is joined to the female screw part of the receiving groove by a male screw part. The variable diffuser ring moves to a lateral direction of the flow path and adjusts an opening degree and forms an internal gear in the opposite side of the flow path. The pinion gear internally touches to the internal gear of the variable diffuser ring, thereby rotating and driving the variable diffuser ring.</p> |
