The present invention is a heating device for removing a coating film, said heating device heating a metal material (50) having a coating film (51) formed on the surface. The heating device is equipped with: a main body unit (10) that is provided with a high-frequency power supply (11) and a transformer (12); a cable (20), which is connected to the main body unit (10), and transmits a high-frequency current, which has been outputted from the high-frequency power supply (11) and transformed by the transformer (12); and a heating head (30), which is connected to a leading end of the cable (20), and is provided with a heating coil (33) that heats the metal material by means of the high-frequency current, said metal material being in contact with or close to the heating head.
