PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in access speed to access a storage device which includes various types of memories different in access speed.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: a storage device having a first storage area arranged in a first memory, a second storage area which is cached by using a cache area, other than the first storage area, in the first memory, and arranged in a second memory lower in speed than the first memory, and a third storage area which is not cached and arranged in the second memory; and a processor which reduces the capacity of the second storage area according to the capacity of the cache area, when the first storage area is increased and the cache area is reduced, and increases the capacity of the third storage area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
