PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-shot magnetic stimulation coil for medical use for applying pulse magnetic stimulation to a brain and a peripheral nerve that can achieve substantially zero heat generation and significant reduction of power consumption by manufacturing the coil using a high temperature superconducting wire.SOLUTION: A coil 1 is manufactured by winding a high temperature superconducting wire, and used as a magnetic stimulation coil. The coil is accommodated in a non-metal container filled with liquid nitrogen 5 for cooling. The container is of a double structure, and a gap 9 between the outer wall and the inner wall is preferably in a vacuum state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
