PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pot that can suppress boiling over even if noodles or the like are boiled with the lid of the pot removed.SOLUTION: A large number of drilled holes or meshes are provided in the peripheral wall 3 of an inner pot 2. In the outer periphery of the peripheral wall 3 in a position lower than the opening edge 11 of the inner pot 2, there is a flange member 5 that extends along the peripheral direction. The flange member 5 is positioned so that the flange member 5 is positioned lower than the opening edge 12 of an outer pot 1. The width of the flange member 5 is configured such that it roughly fills a gap between the outer pot 1 and the inner pot 2 set therein.
