PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording device which, even when vibration occurs in a system installation environment, can reliably record video data at the time of occurrence of the vibration, in a monitoring camera system that records the video data of video, which is shot by a monitoring camera, on the video recording device.SOLUTION: A control unit 12 records video data only on a hard disk out of the hard disk and a semiconductor memory within a period in which vibration is not detected by a vibration sensor 17; and records the video data on both the hard disk and semiconductor memory within a vibration detection period in which vibration is detected by the vibration sensor 17. |
