A brake for a hoist of an elevator is provided to conveniently alter a elevator brake system including a brake shoe of a brake pad. The brake for the hoist of the elevator provided by the invention is pressed on a brake disc (101) synchronously rotating with a rope sheave (103) of the elevator hoist to generate a brake for the elevator (102) of braking force, the brake for the elevator (102) includes a brake supporting seat (2) of a supporting brake (102), the brake shoe (1) supporting the brake pad (15) pressed on the brake disc (101), a brake host machine (16) supporting the brake shoe (1), a brake pin (6) penetrating the brake shoe (1); a mounting member (17) clamping the brake pin (6) and tightly fastening the brake shoe (1) and the brake host machine (16), a step part (9) installed on the brake pin (6), a plate (7) tabled with the step part (9) to avoid the brake pin (6) dropping from the brake shoe (1), and an engaging slot used for taking the brake shoe (1) from the brake (102). |
