PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexure substrate for suspension capable of securing wiring intensity of a connection terminal part to effectively prevent breaking of wire, while securing connection reliability with an external terminal.SOLUTION: A flexure substrate for suspension includes: a metal support substrate; an insulator layer on the metal support substrate; a wiring layer on the insulator layer; and a protective layer on the insulator layer and the wiring layer. In a periphery of a connection terminal part formed by making an opening in the metal support substrate, the insulator layer, and the protective layer, one or both of the insulator layer and the protective layer have a retraction area on a side of the wiring layer in a planar view at which the insulator layer or the protective layer does not exist, and a non-retraction area with a layer having the retraction area is interposed between the retraction area and the wiring layer. |
