A quantum dot light-emitting element, a backlight module and a display device. The present invention relates to the field of photoelectric devices. The quantum dot light-emitting element comprises: a base substrate (11); an LED light-emitting structure (12), wherein the LED light-emitting structure (12) is disposed on a first surface of the base substrate (11) and is configured to generate exciting light; a heat insulation layer (13), the heat insulation layer (13) being disposed on a second surface of the base substrate (11); and a quantum dot layer (14), the quantum dot layer (14) being disposed on the heat insulation layer (13), the quantum dot layer (14) being excited by the exciting light to emit light, wherein the heat insulation layer (13) is configured to block heat conduction or heat radiation between the base substrate (11) and the quantum dot layer (14).
