A CRANE LOADING PLATFORM ADAPTED FOR LATERAL EXTENSION

There is provided a crane loading platform adapted for lateral extension. The crane loading platform comprises a substantially rectangular laterally extendable base, the base adapted for slidably engaging lateral extension members and widthwise laterally located walls operably fastened to the lateral extension members; and surface area configurable decking means adapted to extend between the width wise laterally located walls. In use, the crane loading platform is configurable in a compact configuration wherein: the lateral extension members are retracted; and the surface area configurable decking means has a compact surface area such that the crane loading platform comprises a compact width; and an extended configuration wherein: the lateral extension members are extended; and the surface area configurable decking means has an extended surface area such that the crane loading platform comprises an extended width.
