PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium which differs in appearance from a conventional cholesteric medium, has a color shift effect and a circularly polarized light reflection characteristic which are unique to cholesteric materials, and allows a specific pattern to be formed thereon at low cost; and to provide a method for forming the specific pattern.SOLUTION: A medium for preventing forgery of recording information which includes at least a color shift information recording layer containing a first cholesteric layer, a black-ink absorbing layer, and a metallic reflective layer. |
