PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a radical functional fluid having high washing and sterilization/disinfection effect, and to provide a purification method using the radical functional fluid in which the production method of the radical functional fluid is applied to a washing step of a processing object.SOLUTION: In a production method of a radical functional fluid, two kinds of gases containing at least one kind of gaseous plasma are blown into a solvent W, and thereby at least radicals in the plasma are dissolved into the solvent W, to thereby obtain the radical functional fluid.
