PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system and computing system that support an input/output interface of a multiple protocol.SOLUTION: A storage system of the present invention comprises: a plurality of storage interface connectors; an adapter connector; and a cable connector. A storage mother board is configured to accommodate a storage adapter circuit on an adaptable connector. The storage adapter circuit is configured to offer a protocol conversion between a host bus interface and a storage interface. The storage adapter circuit is configured to offer routing for accommodating a plurality of master storage devices. The plurality of storage devices is configured to be coupled to the storage adapter circuit via the storage mother board. The storage adapter circuit is configured to be replaced with a circuit supporting a different host interface or different storage interface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
