PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, a communication device, and a program that improve convenience.SOLUTION: A communication system includes a communication device 1, a gateway 2, information providing servers 3a, 3b, ..., 3p, and an activation management server 4. Data access software is installed on the communication device in advance, and the communication device operates according to the data access software and transmits an information acquisition request according to an instruction by a user to an information providing server via the gateway. The information providing servers include an authentication server for performing authentication operation, and the communication device sets the authentication server as a primary server, and stores information designating the primary server. The communication device transmits an authentication request to the primary server via a gateway server, determines if the authentication by the primary server is a success, and permits the user to transmit an information acquisition request to the information providing servers other than the primary server when it has determined the authentication is a success.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
