1. An information processing device comprising:
a storage device configured to store a plurality of files constituting a digital content item; a processing section configured to: (i) obtain the digital content item from a server connected to a network, (ii) record the plurality of files of the digital content item in the storage device, wherein each file of the plurality of files belongs to at least one of a plurality of groups, and at least one file belongs to each group, (iii) determine whether all of one or more files of the plurality of files belonging to a first group of the plurality of groups have completed recording in the storage device, prior to all other groups of the plurality of groups have completed recording during execution of download processing, and (iv) produce a signal indicating a result of the determination; and a content executing section configured to begin executing a part of the digital content item based on the one or more files of the plurality of files belonging to the first group, and prior to the completion of the recording of at least some of all the other groups of the plurality of groups, upon: (i) the processing section determining that all of the one or more files belonging to the first group are recorded in the storage device, (ii) the content executing section receiving an instruction during the execution of the download processing, and (iii) the issuance of the signal indicating the completion of the recording of all of the one or more files of the plurality of files belonging to the first group.
